These quiet fish, when kept in numbers, make for a great community display. Hemigrammus bleheri is not picky and will eat most prepared foods, as long as they are small. Since they are very shy when kept singly, it is best to keep them in schools. Also, H. bleheri tend to associate with Neon (Paracheirodon simulans) and Cardinal tetras (Paracheirodon axelrodi). Because they are very timid, do not keep H. bleheri with agressive, territorial fish. |
