Rasbora heteromorpha, also known as Trigonostigma heteromorpha, prefers an aquarium with areas of dense vegetation, open swimming space, dark substrate, and subdued lighting. They are social fish that do best in groups of four or more individuals. Harlequin Rasboras are excellent community fish because they are small and peaceful. They are seldom known to nip at the fins of other fish, or quarrel with any other species. R. heteromorpha will readily accept flake, dried, frozen, and live foods. They should be provided a varied diet to ensure good nutrition and a healthy immune system. |
